I have also inadvertently downloaded Driver Manager and also used the uninstall feature to get rid of it. However on start up I get "Driver manager not working, searching for a solution". I generally just hit the get rid of button and it will try again so I get rid of the message again. The problem is this makes things slow and inconvenient. I can't find any program by the name of Driver Manager in my system but on start up the computer is apparently looking for it. Any suggestions or similar experience?

Try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
After that, try running AdwCleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys or toolbars in your system. AdwCleaner, although it clears the browsers and services, it can also delete bad executable files set to start or hide when the computer starts.
I've downloaded "Driver Manager" by mistake and would like to uninstall it. When I go to "Uninstall Programs" and click on the "Driver Manager" icon I don't get an option to uninstall. How can I uninstall it?

You will need to use the uninstaller provided in the program's installation folder to get rid of Driver Manager software. You can use a more simple way by clicking Start > All Programs > Driver Manager > Uninstall. Select the executable and follow the instructions. You might want to restart the computer so that the software uninstalls completely .
